Justice the Judge
How could i have forgotten Justice the Judge
Aka Tongai Mutongi thinks women are incapable of decision making or handling grave issues. As far as Justice is concerned women are only good for cooking, cleaning and child bearing (the 3 C’s of women according to Justice).
Your skirt is too short, your laugh is too loud, your walk is too slow, your nail polish is too bright, your plate is too full, you need to lose weight, you need to smile more, a little make up wouldn’t hurt, you need to make my mother like you, you need to lose your friends, you can’t have male friends, you can’t go out at night, you need to change churches.
Justice is like a rule maker, a law giver… a dictator
Every time his wife or girlfriend is required to make a decision, Justice just has to pitch in with his two cents even when no one has asked for them. Even women issues like what his woman is going to get done in HER head….” Justice and Lisa are shopping in town and she picks up a curly weave to get done. Justice- “is that what you want to get done? Why don’t you get the straight weave, it suits you better.
“Jus, I have saved up enough money and I want to buy a new x” Justice “you want to buy an X? What for you don’t need it, why don’t you give me the money instead and I will buy you a Y, we both know you need a Y”
Justice needs to respect his woman enough to know that she can handle her business. She doesn’t need him telling her when to breathe. When she gets stuck I am sure she knows where to find him.
Unless of course she is one of those women who require a Justice, I do know that there are women out there who enjoy sitting back and watching Justice handling everything. But where I am concerned, Justice you need to learn that I am capable of making my decisions. Where you think I am truly walking into a fire, sure speak up, where I ask for you opinion sure speak up. But don’t shove your infinite rule book down my throat.
Or maybe its just the feminist in me who just doesn’t like Justice but … thank you for making me sceptical about men Justice…
