My 2 cents on Polikem, Tintin, Oscar and Miley
My 2 cents...
1.
Polikem is simply a publicity stunt. A case of
two people trying to use a reality show which has ended to sell themselves and their
businesses. That soccer player who continues to kick the ball after the ref has
blown the final whistle. My advice to the two “love birds” is reap as much as
you can as fast as you can because very soon more current scandals will push
your names to the back of our memories. So, launch the new shops and clothing
lines while we still give a …
2.
Tin Tin leaked her own explicit tape. One of the
22 immutable laws of branding is the Law of Change, brands need to change. We
had stopped talking about her brutal assault and she needed to rejuvenate her
tired brand. What better way to do that than an explicit tape; it worked for
Kim Kardashian and Pokello didn’t it? Sadly though the tape has become the butt
of many jokes and has failed to yield the desired results. Its back to the
drawing board Tin Tin and fast…
3.
Oscar knowingly killed Reeve. They had a fight and he shot her. Why do I think
so?
i.
Oscar had known anger issues
ii.
When the person you were in a room with is no
longer in the room but remains in the house, when you hear a sound in the next
room is you first assumption that it’s a robber? (insert puzzled emoticon)
iii.
According to Auntie Google, Valentine’s Day is
topping the list of Most popular days for breaking up.
4.
Miley Cyrus has lost the plot. I appreciate that
she is trying to move away from being Hannah Montana but the rebranding had
just been too drastic. It’s difficult to think that she is the same innocent
girl on my niece’s bed cover, school bag and ruler. Maybe it’s time we told all the little girls
that Hannah Montana is dead. Sad as it is sex sells in the music industry. Case
in point – Kelly Rowlands, when she sang “Train on a track” very few spared
a minute for her, to most she was the other girl from Destiny’s Child but the
minute she decided to go all raunchy people sat up and paid attention.
That’s my 2 cents and its free...
