Of broke producers and bad plots

The fifth season of Prison Break… what was that about. The fourth season had ended so well. All the villains were either dead or apprehended save for T Bag, and all the heroes were free. Hip hip hurray.

Then according to my theory; either the producer, director or writer got very broke and decided to make just one more season. Forget good plots and exhilarating storylines we are in it for the mula.

In my opinions, and I am seldom ever wrong, the final season of Prison Break was a total injustice to the entire series.

They are free

Sarah is pregnant

Sarah and Michael get married

Sarah gets arrested (just after they had been exonerated of all their crimes, WHAT??)

They break her out (a lame breaking out too)

Now here is the part that really irked me, Michael Scoffield dies. It was an honorable death, I agree, dying for the woman he loves and their unborn love child. But really why kill poor Michael, hadn’t he suffered enough. Michael dies and T Bag get to live.

Did they even spare a minute to think about how Michael and Sarah were never afforded the opportunity to have a normal relationship, frills and all?

I guess maybe killing Michael was their way of ensuring that they wouldn’t consider an even lousier season 6. Even if they got broke again.

Back to Michael Scoffield. Of the two brothers, he was my favorite, the ultimate definition of attractive and not just in the obvious way. His brain is what attracted me to him, not its appearance because I never got to see it but his intelligence. He was so intense and so brainy and so caring, did I mention his intelligence? thinking up plans and schemes that were so magnificent.

And then the cherry on top – second to Chuck Bass (Gossip Girl), no one says “ I love you” like Michael Scoffield….
