Rambling...
Today I feel like rambling and so I shall;
People tend make fun of my Miss Polly because she is cute
and just the right size, so ill share some of these Miss Polly jokes. (If you
missed the introduction, Miss Polly is my car)
A friend once put his foot behind the wheel and asked me drive
over it because he was sure it wouldn’t hurt
A mechanic once asked if Miss Polly uses AA batteries in her
engine (the small batteries you put in your TV remote).
Speaking of cars and driving I would like to propose that
the Ministry of Roads (and what what) introduces a lane for “provers”. Provers
are a bit different from drivers in that drivers are simply trying to get from
point A to point B, provers on the other hand want to prove their driving
skills on the road– proving that they can fit in that space, proving that they
can take off faster than the next car, proving that they can beat a red.
Provers are a huge inconvenience to drivers and I feel they should prove all
the want in their own lanes and let the drivers drive in peace.
I was listening to Uncle Sam’s “I dont ever want to see you again” and I thought to myself if that was his close friend then what were his
enemies like??? If his close friend could write that letter them my heart goes
out to him:
"Dear
Reader, once close friend of mine
Hope that this letter finds you in time
Cos your love is ending
And my life's just beginning
With a woman that I know you hold dear to you"
Hope that this letter finds you in time
Cos your love is ending
And my life's just beginning
With a woman that I know you hold dear to you"
I have more people asking me when I am getting
married than people asking how I am doing with my studies. This has wondering what’s more important to
parents; that their daughters are happily married or that their daughters are
economically empowered. The large majority of people seem to be more concerned
with giving their daughters of to “worthy suitors” than they are with
empowering their daughters.
Suggestions for my Christmas present – A Mitchelle Obama autobiography
or We need new names by NoViolet Bulawayo.
I have been quite silent on Facebook lately, the reason
behind my silence is that I seem to be falling in love with Twitter, follow the
madness @October_Madness
Enough with my rambles, as you were
