Perfection in love

I recently attended a wonderful wedding after party, no I am not one of those people that gate crash parties I was a legitimate plus one to an invited guest. Sadly I failed to attend the wedding because I was at work until very late and could only make it in time for the after party.
I digress…

The party was lovely, lots of happy people, lots of dancing and an open bar.

The wedding was just as beautiful I am told; the groom had everyone in tears as he gave his speech describing how his new wife had transformed his life and made him a better person. I guess that’s what real and true love should make you do; it should constantly inspire you to be a better person for the one you love as opposed to making demands on your better half for them to be perfect for you. You should ask yourself what you can do for the one you love and not always what they can do for you. The perfection that you expect you should also be willing to give.

Someone once said some people are so busy looking for the perfect mate that they forget to make time to perfect themselves for this perfect mate…

Have you ever wondered if you would date yourself? If you were of the opposite gender that is, would you date yourself????
