You will never hurt me again,

Once I loved you enough to give you all of who I was, and I was prepared to give you all of who I was becoming

And yet it was not good enough for you

You threw it back in my face

You threw it back so fast I failed to catch it

And now bits and pieces of me are scattered all over the floor

Now I have to pick up the pieces and clean up the mess

But you will never hurt me again

As soon as I am done picking up these precious pieces of who I am

 I am going to bury them somewhere so far and so deep that no one, not even you will ever find them

Look at me while I am talking to you
