The other two men
Ladies, today I will introduce you to two men you
will meet in your life. They aren’t “The One” but they definately could have been...
Man number ONE I will call your “Shoulda Woulda
Coulda”.
Shoulda; because it seemed just right
Woulda; because of that one reason why it
never happened
Coulda; because nothing was stopping you
With
this man, the situation was ideal for you to date. You got along like southern
comfort and lime, like amarula and milk, like JB and Sprite (I am sure you get
it now).
You got along, you were both available but for some reason you failed
to get past the friendship boundary. Usually the reason for this is that you
both didn’t want to ruin a good friendship…. You chose to pass of a potentially
great relationship instead….. not sure if that makes sense…
For a long time you feel a sharp pain every
time he talks about another woman. The pain becomes more acute when he
dates!!!!!!!!
Eventually you resign yourself to the fact
that it will never happen, but every once in a while you will gaze at him and
think “I really shoulda woulda coulda”
Man number TWO is your “Another place
another time”. Like the scenario above the two of you were like Aladdin and
Jasmine, Mega mind and Roxanne, Cindrella and the Handsome Prince . Great conversation, similar interests,
,mind blowing chemistry. Albeit, with this man the environment was not
conducive for the two of you to date; he was in a relationship, you were in a
relationship, you had just exited a bad relationship, he is your friend’s ex,
he is leaving the country in a week….
Just one variable needed to be changed and
voila we have a match made in heaven. “In another place in another time” the
two of you would have had a relationship of note.
