Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus...

I think I have figured out how men were catfished into marrying women, walk with me...

There were beings from Mars and beings from Venus and somehow Nature had to find away to bring these beings together because despite their 10 000 differences they needed each other and Nature needed them to reproduce.

The (majority of the) beings from Venus, the women, were created with that maternal ‘je ne sais quoi’, they were born to be nurturers and hence thoughts of settling down and raising children came naturally to most of them...

The men on the other hand were not born with any paternal anything. Yes, they were protectors and they were strong BUT ideas of settling down and raising a family were not in their near or distant thoughts. They loved their independence and pretty much wanted to be left to their own shenanigans, only seeking the company of women when it pleased them.

Nature had to think of something fast because these beings were created to complement one another in a way that only worked if one man was with one woman for the long haul.

...and more importantly Nature NEEDED them to reproduce.

So Nature made the men enjoy order, good food and clean homes while at the same time be rather disorganised, hate cooking and abhor cleaning. The women needed protection, security, love and enjoyed being provided for, the man could do this for them. Surely, these needs would bring them together, because the nurturer in the woman would not mind organising the man’s life, cooking and cleaning after him. She would also enjoy being protected, loved and provided for by the man. They would come to each others rescue and reproduce.

After a little while Nature realised that the plan was not working, the men had simply decided to stay in their mothers homes and get all the organising, good food and ‘clean’ that they wanted and at the same time loving, protecting and providing for whatever woman was present and interested at the time. The men and women were not staying together and therfor not realising the benefit of how they complemeted each other and they certainly were not reproducing.

Nature’s plan had not worked. Emotions and rational thinking had failed to bring men and women together...

Then Nature decided to deliver the sucker punch. Give men raging hormones. Raging hormones that would haunt them every morning and every night!!!!

The trick was; fair enough mother can clean and cook for you and add some order to your life but she can not cure your raging hormones!! The man was going to have go to Venus and shop for a life partner. He would provide what she had been ‘waiting’ for and he would get order, good food and a clean home with a somewhat home based solution to the raging hormones. And they would REPRODUCE. It was a win for man, woman and Nature.

Of course we do have the curious case of man who decided to cure his raging hormones with anything in a skirt with a pulse but thats a story for another day, they represent the minority.
