That dark moment

Everyone has a chapter that they don’t read out loud….

It will come, at the very least once in your life time you will have an experience that will leave you wishing this world had never allowed that egg to be fertilised.

It will be a moment that will have you looking for heaven’s number so that you can ask the Man Upstairs “WHY”?

It will be a dark moment where even all the sorry’s in the world cannot make their way through your eardrums let alone offer any comfort.

That moment will leaving wishing for death, a monster you haven’t met but you would rather befriend than meet tomorrow.

It will come, at least once in your lifetime. That moment where everything that ever made sense in your life will be a blur and your only focus will be trying to keep ground from slipping under your feet.

Where pain will be magnified so much that you can’t remember that there was a time when it was never there. Where the hope that got you through yesterday has vanished with the morning dew.

In that moment, in the silence of being the only one who can understand your own pain, you will discover truths about yourself. You will ask difficult questions and force the answers out of yourself.

In that moment you will find a strength that you didn’t even know you had, but it could only come out once the volcano had erupted.

If you haven’t experienced it best believe it is coming. If you have experienced it, I cannot assure you that it is not coming again… But breathe, it shall pass...
