October Madness
And so it is the month of madness and I have been MIA. For
those of you who were worried I was not on MH370 or MH17, I am also not one of
the 200 girls and I don’t have Ebola… yet. It may seem very distasteful of me
to speak of such heart wrenching and world shaking events with a hint of humour
and sarcasm but I can assure you that I do this only because thinking of them
in any other way is utterly depressing.
Back to the here and now, it is the MONTH OF MADNESS and the posts have been far and few in
between. I could blame it on a combination of my studies, work and the general
pressures of life, I could also tell you about how I have been busy with the
hectic life audits that I conduct in the month of October, but I won’t. I will
accept full responsibility of my failure to post regularly and proceed to offer
no explanation beyond that apology. I mean honestly, Boko Haram hasn’t brought
back the girls, they haven’t found at
least one body from the passengers of MH370 and so forth and so on? My point
is, there are more important answers to seek out there than the reasons why I
haven’t been posting… or maybe I don’t have a forgivable explanation…
In other news, tomorrow marks the 3rd anniversary
of this blog. October Madness was my 24th
birthday present to myself. (Stop calculating my age). Right here is where I
take a break from my surroundings and dive deep into myself, by myself. In
these blog posts one can look for me and find a true, raw and untainted and
unedited version of who I truly I am.
Going down memory lane, follow the link to read my first
post ….
