The Personality Test

I recently took a personality test for the fun of it and the results were surprisingly extremely close to home. It was quite scary that a test taken in 5 minutes can reveal my deepest darkest secrets. But it is not rocket science, it simply asks you questions you seldom ever ask yourself and these become your results. The trick with the test though is to ensure that you are 100% honest with yourself or else the results won’t be accurate. Even if it means acknowledging those flaws that you usually conceal.
I won’t share all the results but I will share a few. I have named them – The good, The embarrassing and The who told you that.

The good
-          You are well-organized and like to live according to routines and schedules (Martin, my friend once laughed at my “to do list” books… because they more than one at any given time)
-          You strive hard to achieve excellence. Your drive to be recognized as successful keeps you on track toward your lofty goals.
-          You often have a strong sense of direction in life, but may sometimes be too single-minded and obsessed with your work.
-          You will help others if they are in need.

There were more goods but let me not bore you, let us move to The embarrassing…

-          You experience panic, confusion, and helplessness when under pressure or stress (The Mr must be laughing right now, he has witnessed the panic and confusion first hand, I on the other hand have denied it till this day)
-          People generally perceive you as distant and reserved, and you do not usually reach out to others (ohh  judge me)

-          You feel superior to those around you and sometimes tend to be seen as arrogant by other people. (I said don’t judge me, besides it’s a computer based test, it could have made a mistake… Electra once called me a snob….)
-          You get overwhelmed by too much noise and commotion and do not like thrill-seeking activities (Just so you know, I have spoken about bungee jumping a lot in my life but truth be told chances that I will ever take the jump are very slim)
-          You have been known to procrastinate (I took the said test in July, decided to blog about it in August and guess what? We are in September, what can I say)

The who told you that (insert suspicion emoticon)

-          You do not enjoy confrontation, but you will stand up for yourself or push your point if you feel it is important. (I remember once, I had an argument while doing a group assignment at school. My solution was simply to volunteer to type out the assignment and make sure that all my VALID points are included)
-          You lead a fast-paced and busy life. (sometimes I don’t even know what I am busy doing)
-          Generally you are not considered to be an emotional person, however you are aware of and in touch with your emotions. (Kiri said I am not a girly girl and I wasn’t offended)

Now that you know what are you going to do next ….
